These terms apply when you use wonderheropress.com or order a personalized book from Wonder Hero Press (“we,” “us”). By placing an order, you agree to them.
You give us a few details about your child — first name, age, gender, hair color, eye color, and interests — and choose a theme. We use that information to generate a personalized illustrated story starring your child, delivered as a digital PDF, with an optional printed copy and an optional personalized song.
Prices are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Your book is personalized specifically for the child described at checkout, so please double-check the details before you order — we generate the story automatically based on exactly what you enter.
Digital books are typically generated and emailed within about 5 minutes of payment. Printed copies are produced and shipped by our print partner, Lulu, on a separate, longer timeline; you'll receive tracking information once your printed copy ships.
If you're not happy with your book, contact us within 7 days of purchase at hello@wonderheropress.com and we'll make it right or refund you.

Our books are designed to be warm, encouraging, and grounded in general best practices around common childhood moments — fear of the dark, starting school, a new sibling, and similar themes. They're a comforting story, not medical or psychological treatment, and they're not a substitute for professional advice. If you have concerns about your child's wellbeing, please talk to your pediatrician or a qualified professional.
The personalized book we generate for you is yours to keep, print, and share with your family for personal, non-commercial use. The underlying story templates, illustration style, technology, and Wonder Hero Press branding remain our property.
We work hard to get every book right, but the service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any issue with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
